The 2026-27 Parent Student Handbook is available to notify you of your rights and responsibilities under California Education Code Section 48980 and following. Together with this Handbook are several important forms that you need to read, complete, sign, and return to the school. An electronic version of the Handbook and forms are available in the Parent Portal and can also be found on the Division of School Operations website at: https://www.lausd.org/districtoperations.
By completing these forms, you communicate how you want the school staff to support your child. In some cases, schools need information from parents before they can act; please help us better serve your child by providing clear directions. It is important that if you received a physical copy of the Parent Student Handbook, please ensure that all forms are completed, signed, and returned to the school by September 11, 2026 so we can support you and your child. You may also complete these forms electronically, which will be available in the Parent Portal in September.
